Abstract

GUERRA, Andréa Máris Campos  and  OTONI, Marina de Melo Silva Soares. The adolescent offender and the social another one: psychoanalytic reflections on indifference. Rev. Subj. [online]. 2018, vol.18, n.3, pp. 1-12. ISSN 2359-0769.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5020/23590777.rs.v18i3.5182.

This article aims to analyze the indifference, based on the experience with adolescents in conflict with the law, focusing on the relationship with the technician responsible for their monitoring in the socio-educational measure in open means, in order to understand how it is possible to work with these young people in measure. To achieve this, we choose psychoanalysis as a theoretical reference. Since indifference is not a psychoanalytic concept, but a term collected from the experience with these young people, in order to proceed to the investigation of this experience, we resort to the concept of drive, in Freud theory to define indifference. We mark the discussion with the notion of transference. We used a piece of adolescent case that fulfilled the measure of Community Service Provision, in which indifference presented itself as an obstacle to accomplishing the proposed work. We locate, at the end of this investigation, the rectification of the Other as a strategy to work with indifferent young people in the measure.

Keywords : adolescent in conflict with the law; indifference; psychoanalysis; socio-educative measure; drive.
