EDITORIAL EDITORIAL

Volume 19 nr.3 of our Journal brings very interesting contributions, with a view to the relationship between health and education, growth and development, in their social and biological aspects.

We are happy because in this issue we have expanded to a series of subjects and research groups. We received papers from UNICAMP, USP, UNESP, UFRJ, UERJ, UFPA, UFCE.

It is worth to mention two studies carried out in health services; the first on the value of files, in the opinion of coordinators of CAPSi (Centres for Psychosocial Care for Children and Adolescents), and the other a report from an initiative of humanization of care in a public maternity hospital.

An interesting report on psychotherapy for a girl victim of sexual abuse; a study on socialization goals from parents towards their children; reflections on the possibility of symbolic violence in health services for adolescents, and an interesting review on the configuration of links in adoption, are examples of the expansion of subjects in this issue.

We hope the contribution os this issue of the RBCDH can be of value in the search for the knowledge of growth and development.
