EDITORIAL

In the last issue of Revista Mental, I made a claim to my psychologist colleagues in Brazil and other countries of America who were involved with the subject Ethics in Research and Scientific Production of Psychology. I received important manifestations of support, especially from colleagues in Peru, Argentina and Colombia, but still do not have the sufficient number of articles to dedicate a special issue of Revista Mental to this subject.

I persist in my task and commitment to publish this issue in order to contribute in different ways to spread the theme, which is a matter of debate in Brazilian and international science. I have been presenting studies in national and international congresses, and have also given courses in research institutions in many places of Brazil, thus effectively participating in the movements for ethics in research as the coordinator of the Ethics Committee in the university where I work, in the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors (ABEC) and in Associação de Editores Científicos das Revistas em Psicologia (ABECIP); I also have participated in publications, such as annals of congresses, articles and chapters of books.

Considering that such commitment is not over yet, I still expect the manifestation of colleagues who would like to contribute with the development of the subject.

In this issue, I continue to receive numberless contributions on themes related to the editorial line of the publication, and there is no doubt that colleagues collaborate with important themes of psychology related to mental health, which I can share with many professionals or others who are interested in this field. Here is one more issue, despite all difficulties we face as editors to keep our journals with periodicity and scientific communications that help the development of Psychology, especially the Brazilian science.

I thank all of you who directly or indirectly contributed with this journal, with the publication of one more issue of Revista Mental.
