EDITORIAL
Liberabit, has gradually developed its process pointing to optimize its work. This is the reason why it is located among the best magazines in this part of the continent.
On this line of development, this year 2008, Liberabit was included in Scielo-Perú (Scientific Electronic Library Online), one of the most selected International databases, and through this year it has been confirmed by the Comité Consultivo Nacional, due to the fact that it fulfills the high standards. This collection has 12 issues and two of them are Psychology magazines.
Besides, the Editorial Committee has invited foreign and national distinguished people to be part of it. As it is known, its functions are to supervise the fulfillment of the political editorial rules and take a decision in case the referees express an opposite declaration to any of the proposed articles for its publication.
As Liberabit has been in constant development, it has now a publication every six months. This frequency will allow more fluency on publications.
From 2010, the editorial management process will be done automatically. For that reason, we will use the Open Journal System (OJS). It will make the evaluation process and the article edition faster to do, in that way the author can follow the process too.
We also communicate that it will be available on our Web site completely updated and with a modern design, presenting all the information concerning the magazine, and of course, an open access to all works in full text.
The inclusion of Liberabit in the main international catalogues and data bases, gives it more visibility to the scientific production of the authors, so that they can get closer to the International scientific community. Naturally, it will increase the use indicators of the magazine understood as the monthly visitors to the content as well as the impact indicator of each volume title. We would like to remark hat these bibliometric indicators show a deficit in relation to Latin American psychologists.
Wefully thank all the ones who have gone along this way with us.
