EDITORIAL

The Journal DIVERSITAS, in a record time of two years from its birth, has entered to the system of indexing of Colombia PUBLlNDEX in category C and also it has been including in the LlLACS system, the information system of scientific magazines in health developed by the Pan American Health Organization. In this achievement we want to give special thanks to the work of the Library, because it is clear that today the development of the scientific journals without the cooperation of diverse actors cannot be conceived and is of great relevance the marking work developed by the Library. These two profits in a so short period of time, full us of satisfaction and show an improvement way to uso

With the inclusion in LlLACS and the improvement of the quality and the clear extension in articles -this as resulting from article publication derived from institutional investigations as national as international-, our magazine can ask for its reclassification in category B and thus ask for the inclusion in the system Scielo and so, to ascend to the A2 category in the Colombian index system, gaining more visibility for the faculty and the university. However, the entrance to the Scielo system implies an investment to mark the information into the system and thus, to obtain the visibility that it guarantees.

On the other hand, it is important to mentioning how the journal has been tie, by its inclusion to the Publindex system, to scenes of visibility and formation for publishers of magazines PUBLlNDEX. It is to emphasize the invitation to system REDALYC, as well as the invitation to the course for the use of the Electronic System of Publishing Management organized by the Javeriana University, Redalyc and Colciencias, and we hoped that for being a magazine REDALYC, we could to take advantage of our conditions to improve our publishing processes, especially respect to the arbitration. It is clear that these processes implied new challenges for the development of our publication.

All these good news compel to DIVERSITAS and all the university in the investment of processes of maintenance and improvement of quality of the journal as source of visibility of the University for the world.
