Dessa forma, o presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar as propriedades psicométricas do Working Alliance Inventory, versões terapeuta (WAI-T) e cliente (WAI-C). Os dados foram retirados de um projeto guarda-chuva que conduz um protocolo de terapia cognitivo-comportamental (TCC) de 12 sessões on-line, individuais, para pessoas com transtorno por uso de álcool (TUA). O WAI-T e WAI-C foram respondidos nas 4ª, 8ª e 12ª sessões por meio de um formulário on-line. Ambos apresentaram aumento dos escores gerais e subescalas ao longo do processo psicoterapêutico. Os instrumentos apresentaram alto grau de consistência interna (WAI-T = 0,94; WAI-C = 0,93). A análise fatorial exploratória do WAI-T identificou três fatores com poder explicativo de 49,3% sobre a variância total. No WAI-C, foram identificados quatro fatores com poder explicativo de 55,7%. Em ambos, foram observadas correlações fortes entre o escore total e suas subescalas. As propriedades psicométricas dos instrumentos foram semelhantes às de estudos conduzidos na terapia presencial e se mostraram adequadas para a modalidade on-line, viabilizando a avaliação da AT na terapia on-line para a prática clínica e de pesquisa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Although several studies indicate the therapeutic alliance (TA) as an important predictor of results in psychotherapy, little is known about its role in the results of on-line psychotherapy, and good available measures are essential. Thus, the present study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Working Alliance Inventory therapist (WAI-T) and client (WAI-C) versions. Data were taken from an umbrella project that conducts a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy protocol of 12 on-line, individual sessions for people with Alcohol Use Disorder. The WAI-T and WAI-C were answered in the 4th, 8th, and 12th sessions using an on-line form. The WAI-T and WAI-C had increased general scores and subscales throughout the psychotherapeutic process. The instruments showed high internal consistency (WAI-T=0.94 and WAI-C=0.93). The WAI-T Exploratory Factor Analysis identified three factors with explanatory power of 49.3% of the total variance. In the WAI-C, four factors were identified with an explanatory power of 55.7%. On both instruments, strong correlations were observed between the total score and its subscales. The psychometric properties of the instruments were similar to those of studies conducted in face-to-face therapy and were suitable for the on-line modality, enabling the assessment of the therapeutic alliance in on-line interventions for clinical and research practice..]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Aunque diversos estudios indican que la alianza terapéutica (AT) es un importante predictor de resultados en psicoterapia, se sabe poco sobre su papel en los resultados de la psicoterapia en línea, siendo fundamental contar con buenas medidas disponibles. En consequencia, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario de Alianza de Trabajo versiones terapeuta (WAI-T) y cliente (WAI-C). Los datos se obtuvieron de un proyecto paraguas que lleva a cabo un protocolo de Terapia Cognitivo-Conductual de 12 sesiones en línea, individuales, para personas con Trastorno por Uso de Alcohol. El WAI-T y WAI-C fueron respondidos en la 4ª, 8ª y 12ª sesiones, utilizando un formulario en línea. El WAI-T y WAI-C mostraron un aumento de las puntuaciones generales y de las subescalas a lo largo del proceso psicoterapéutico. Los instrumentos presentaron un alto grado de consistencia interna (WAI-T=0,94 y WAI-C=0,93). El Análisis Factorial Exploratorio del WAI-T identificó tres factores con un poder explicativo del 49,3% sobre la varianza total. En el WAI-C fueron identificados cuatro factores con un poder explicativo del 55,7%. En ambos instrumentos se observaron fuertes correlaciones entre la puntuación total y sus subescalas.
