Psicoperspectivas is a peer-reviewed, biannual journal of the School of Psychology of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Its purpose is to provide a platform for exchanging and discussing ideas, in the context of the particular visions of Psychology and of the Human and Social Sciences in general.

The articles published in this journal are predominantly original empirical and theoretical work, including essays, reports of scientific research and/or interventions, and commentaries on relevant and current themes pertaining to the field of Social Sciences.

Starting from the year 2009, Psicoperspectivas is edited on a digital (on-line) format under an open access policy: “This journal provides open access to all of its contents on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge”.
