DUARTE, Daniele Almeida et al. Complex games of tension and reciprocity in a public pharmacy: psychosocial factors in health work. Estud. psicol. (Natal) [online]. 2023, vol.28, n.3, pp.397-409. Epub 28-Mar-2025. ISSN 1413-294X. https://doi.org/10.69909/1678-4669.20230034.
Based on a mixed-method survey, through the application of the Health Safety Executive - Indicator Tool (HSE-IT), we sought to understand the psychosocial factors present in the daily lives of health workers in a public pharmacy in southern Brazil. It was possible to identify how the precariousness of work affects professionals at the local and regional level and to situate the national conjuncture crossed by the neoliberal State. The workers' experience reveals how the ways of working are configured, constituting the health-disease-suffering process, which managerial practices have ignored. It is urgent to link the field of Worker Health with public management so that humanized care can be built, which requires recovering investment in the Unified Health System (SUS), in its workers and in public policies in Brazil.
