This article was written as a reflection about what is the possible handle, in the psychoanalytic clinic, of cases that point to the beyond the pleasure principle, denoting a search for a “pure suffering”. For that, it was made a cut inside Freud’s work, specially under the economic point of view of the psycho labor, showing that the paradox between pulsion of life and pulsion of death can permit a study about one specific question: how to bear the unbearable of ours patients?
