Mobilizing a literary work to develop psychoanalytic concepts and present the conflicts inherent to subjectivity was a resource that Freud used several times. To this end, this work mobilizes the literary production “Days of abandonment” by Elena Ferrante to reflect on writing and the encounter with the desire to narrate as a possibility of surviving the experience of devastation that pervades women when they lose the love of the object.
