Freud emphasizes that the subject usually moderates his search for happiness when faced with the possibilities of suffering, always searching for satisfaction, seeking the principle of pleasure, avoiding displeasure. At the moment we live in, there seems to be a hurried search to fulfill desires, to achieve pleasure at all costs. We can no longer escape the technology that affects us in the culture of the virtual world that is installed in the real world. It is about this full and rapid search for technological offers of games, sex, shopping, relationships, artificial intelligence and the most diverse possibilities that we will discuss in this Freudian vision in the face of narcissistic profiles, of subjects identified with the completeness of the technologies that accompany us day in and day out. night. At the same time, we hear in the clinic the symptoms and psychic consequences linked to the attempt to overcome the faults that irremediably lead the subject to helplessness.
