This article aims to document the trajectory of the Círculo Psicanalítico de Sergipe (CPS), highlighting its foundation, key milestones in its history, and its contributions to psychoanalysis in Sergipe. In addition to revisiting institutional memories, the work offers a reflection on the future of psychoanalysis in the state and the institution’s growth prospects. The narrative covers the role of CPS in the training of psychoanalysts and its participation in nationally and internationally significant events, as well as exploring the impact of its social clinic on the local community.
