This work aims to explore the question of the analytical process by reflecting on the supposed place or position from which an analysis begins and where it ends. It examines how Freud addressed this issue and how Lacan contributes significantly to understanding circularity and repetition as central elements of the analytical process. Thus, analysis is seen as an ethical and practical path in which desire is revealed through language, connecting the beginning and the end of the process.
