Starting from a fragment of a session of a child analysis to raise the following questions: subject constitution, structure, alienation-separation, analyst function and analyst intervention in child analysis.The clinic case was presented by Selma Gonçalves Mendes in the Study Group "Children and teenagers psychoanalysis" and the reflexions of the group resulted in the present text where the author brings the following question: what does a child find when it finds an analyst?
