Abstract

PENA, Breno Ferreira. The superego and its shades, from Freud to Lacan. Reverso [online]. 2011, vol.33, n.62, pp.15-21. ISSN 0102-7395.

This article defends the idea that Freud and Lacan’s formulations presented in their works cannot be considered as opposite ideas, as suggest some commentators of them. In spite of it, the two authors have different consi-derations on the concept of superego. To work with the superego‘s diversities, with the differences and the similarities in Freud’s works and in Lacan’s transmission was the chosen way of defending this idea.
