The present work explores the possibility conditions of maintaining and the status of the psychoanalytic clinic in the pandemic, developing a possible response to the consequences of social isolation on this activity. To do so, we address the incidences of social isolation, centralizing the restriction to face-to-face consultations and unfolding, at the level of the fundamental concept of transference, the adaptations that allowed and allow for the unnecessary and non-normative reconfiguration of the clinic in this unique context.
