This article addresses some aspects of Lacan’s style, in order to highlight the importance of gai savoir among the stylistic sources of lacanian discourse. As shown in the conclusion, gai savoir, beyond its influence upon the style of Lacan’s teaching, stands as a reference for the singular style that each one constitutes with the remains of the end of analysis.

Keywords : Style; Ars bene dicendi; Gai savoir; Lalangue; End of analysis.
