Brief information about the main researchers on transsexualities in the 20th century. Foundations for the depathologization of transsexualities from Freud, Klein and Winnicott. Lacan’s pathologization through foreclosure and the diagnosis of psychosis. Refutation of the comparison between the Schreber case and transsexualities. The deepening of the critique of binarism. The counter feit discourse about transsexualities, exemplified by the film “The Danish Girl” and the reality conditioned by socioeconomic conditions in Brazil.
