The authors make a psychoanalytical literary criticism having as object the content of the work The Brothers Karamazov, by Fyodor Dostoevsky, concerning the character, Ivan Karamazov. In the analytical critique, the Freudian concepts of Bejahung and Verwerfung and Lacan’s initial theories about psychosis related to the Name-of-the-Father and hallucination are worked on.
