The author calls attention to how the ancient inheritance, received, determines the beginnings and the subsequent developments that sculpted the Círculo Psicanalítico de Minas Gerais. The course travelled, since the era of Psicologia Profunda (Deep Psychology) to psychoanalysis, as well as Igor Caruso’s evolution of thought, are considered. CADE’s constitution and the political movement of 1983 are mentioned alongside crucial questions, such as IPA or Lacanian Schooling. The author’s trail brings to our contemporary days.
