Through a clinical case, the author analyses the arduous work of dismantling the superego ideals imposed by parents on children. The proposal of psychoanalysis is to listen to one by one person, in their singularity, opening space for new phantasmatic constructions, so that the subject and his desire can emerge. Comparing it with psychoanalytic institutions themselves, there is a risk of falling into a dangerous idea of right and wrong with serious consequences for analysts in general, and those in training in particular.
