By revisiting the concepts of perinatality, parenthood and gender, the author seeks to integrate them to demonstrate that the participation of discursive changes and new family positions has led to a deconstruction of current hegemonic discourses. For the author, the study of the relationships between the concepts presented provides us with elements to re-evaluate the positions occupied by men and women in contemporary times.
