The concept of “archaic heritage” represents a complex point of convergence between various disciplines, offering a lens for understanding the profound, pre-individual influences that shape human experience. This article seeks to analyze the contributions of authors who work on the topic, as well as their convergences and divergences. Finally, we propose a phenomenological reading of the body as a space of historical inscription and a power of freedom, suggesting that genetic knowledge can both emancipate and normalize.
