MEDEIROS, Ana Paula; SANTOS, Manoel Antônio dos and BARBIERI, Valéria. Psychodynamisms of antisocial trend: a transgenerational study. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2017, vol.29, n.2, pp.275-295. ISSN 0103-5665.
Based on a cross-generational perspective, the way the mental transmission and the structuring process of the family organization take place can be identified. The antisocial trend in children is manifested through fights, aggressiveness, opposition, lies, flights, among others symptoms. This study aimed to understand the family psychodynamics involved in the emergence and maintenance of the antisocial trend in a female five-year-old child. A case study was developed involving the mother, grandmother and daughter, who had antisocial trend symptoms. The psychological interview and projective techniques were used. The results focus on the mental transmission involving the child, her mother and her maternal grandmother. The data reveals that the child’s symptoms are closely related to the anguish, suffering and uncertainties of the family members. An intervention in the family is needed with a view to the efficacy of the child’s treatment.
