Abstract

GOELZER, Roberta Araujo Monteiro  and  MACEDO, Mônica Medeiros Kother. ON THE REAL OF TRAUMA AND THE SUBJECT’S DENIAL: CONTRIBUTIONS BY SÁNDOR FERENCZI. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2022, vol.34, n.3, pp.487-508.  Epub Aug 02, 2024. ISSN 0103-5665.  https://doi.org/10.33208/pc1980-5438v0034n03a03.

In scientific productions referring to the contemporary psychoanalytic field, it is common to find an allusion to an intense demand for work aiming at problematizing and expanding theoretical and technical resources when it comes to thinking about psychic ailments outside the scope of neuroses. In the light of important and imperative calls for the contemporary clinic, one finds in Sándor Ferenczi significant contributions that evince his relevance and currentness, especially in the face of demands for clinical listening in which situations arise where the real trauma intrudes. Thus, we seek to develop in this article, based on the Ferenczian proposal, a clinical illustration about the psychological damage resulting from the intensities that invade the subject from within, and which find in impacting and abusive experiences in the intersubjective field their inception. From Kelly’s story, Ferenczi’s conceptions such as trauma, denial, introjection, incorporation, confusion of languages and destination community are resumed. Articulating them with the young woman’s testimony, a reflection was sought about experiences in which the undeniable traumatic intensity is overwhelming.

Keywords : Ferenczi; trauma; confusion of languages; denial; destination community.
