This text invests in the notions of openness to the world and openness to the Other, which emerge from Amerindian mythology in the analysis of Lévi-Strauss undertaken in the Mythologics, and in the idea of multiplicity of worlds as images that show a world and a subjectivity impregnated by alterity and by the coexistence between humans and other-that-humans. This is an ethical and philosophical posture, absolutely divergent from the Western one, which is based on identity and on a radical separation between nature and society.
