This article aims to approximate the concept of psychic bisexuality developed by Freud closer to the notions of contained-container, central to the Theory of thinking by the English psychoanalyst Wilfred Bion. Grounded on the theoretical developments of both authors, we defend the existence of an androgynous mind that safeguards a bisexual functioning, i.e, a constant dialectic between masculinity↔femininity in a sort of fertile coitus that gives rise to both our child-thoughts as well as the connection between minds, which would be similar to the metaphor of a couple in copulation. The concept of psychic bisexuality and its two aspects, masculinity and femininity, transcend the anatomical ambit, reaching the status of psychic positions that give signs of a primordial oedipal mind.
