Resumen

TURNOWSKI, Aline Choueke et al. Trauma in psychoanalitic clinic: countertransference and denial. J. psicanal. [online]. 2024, vol.57, n.107, pp.109-125.  Epub 20-Ene-2025. ISSN 0103-5835.  https://doi.org/10.5935/0103-5835.v57n107.09.

The article is a reflection on countertransference based on a clinical vignette, linked to reflections on listening and elaborating countertransference, considering the contributions of Ferenczi, Klein and other authors. It starts from the notion of countertransference as the form of unconscious communication of the analysand’s psyche capable of mobilizing unconscious aspects of the analyst that have not yet been elaborated. It is discussed how countertransference can be used as an instrument in favor of the analytical process and what are the risks involved in this use, including the possibility of retraumatizing the patient through denials.

Palabras llave : countertransference; Ferenczi; analytical relationship; denial.
