This systematic review analyzes how the Arts teaching benefits the development of Special Education in the inclusive regular room and/or in Specialized Educational Assistance. Based on the authors’ studies about human development, Arts teaching and inclusive education, ten publications were analyzed, according to established criteria, which discuss the contribution of Arts subjects in schools and the teacher’s role in this process. Recent results show that Arts teaching in regular schools helps the development of Special Education students. The Arts put forward multicultural experiences, expanding the positioning in relation to adversities and social problems. This search guides about the need of specific training for teachers regarding pedagogical practices of Arts teaching.
