Intervention research allows an approximation with the reality in which it is investigated, providing analysis of developmental and situational aspects. Studies on morphological awareness, that is, the metalinguistic ability responsible for reflection on morphemes, cover a field in need of expansion due to the contributory particularities that the literature points out to this ability for learning. This article sought to investigate in the literature the production of interventions in morphological awareness in Brazil in graduate programs. As a result, there is a small number of studies within the established criteria, however, it is possible to point out the facilitating role of this skill for learning to read and spell in schoolchildren.
