Abstract

MEDDA, Mariana Gobbo; RAMOS, Claudia de Cássia  and  MELLO, Claudia Berlim de. Learning to Teach: Experience in a Didactic Improvement Program (PAD) in the Speech Therapy course. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2025, vol.42, n.128, pp.404-410.  Epub Sep 12, 2025. ISSN 0103-8486.  https://doi.org/10.51207/2179-4057.20250018.

Given the importance of preparation for teaching and student learning, the teaching internship is a valuable resource. The Didactic Improvement Program (DIP) is an institutional program of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) that meets the stricto sensu postgraduate teacher training policy, aiming at the development of teaching practice in all its aspects. This work aimed to report the internship experience in this program and characterize the Didactic Improvement Program (DIP) in General Psychology in the undergraduate course of Speech Language Pathology at PPGSIA at UNIFESP, analyzing and discussing institutional teaching practice models. This study evidenced DIP as a fundamental discipline in postgraduate courses, contributing to better teaching and student practices in other programs.
