Morphological awareness is the metalinguistic ability to intentionally reflect on morphemes (Carlisle, 1995). This text presents a review of the book Morphological Awareness, Reading and Writing, organized by Márcia Maria Peruzzi Elia da Mota, published in 2022 by Appris. Thematic summaries of the chapters are presented, highlighting methodological procedures and their developments.
