I think it has become more necessary to further deepen the relationship between psychodrama and imagination. This paper intends to do exactly this. After retracing how imagination has been thought about during the course of history, I attempt to explore its relevance to psychodrama. Based on the concept of imagination we can give further consistency to concepts such as spontaneity, surplus reality, and the breach between fantasy and reality.
