The feeling of envy is a frequent issue raised in psychotherapy sessions, as it causes suffering for those who feel envious as well as those on the receiving end of someone else’s envy. This article aims to fit this painful feeling into the psychodrama theory, relying mainly on the concepts of the matrix of identity and the double-bond.
