This text has been written as a scientific essay, highlighting the freedom of linguistic expression. It reflects on the relationship between cinema and psychodrama, its starting point being the film entitled 'The barbarian invasions'. Is it possible that a narrative of a film can arise a therapeutic experience in us? If so, how? And what would this experience be? The emotions and images evoked by 'The barbarian invasions' are here presented in form of a personal testimony that tries to link subjectivity and objectivity, experience and theory, imagination and action. Distinct and important authors, such as Moreno, Zerka Moreno and the philosopher Bachelard take part in the discussion.
