Psychodrama is a sociotherapeutic intervention that employs action methods to work with social relationships, taking a central role in the anti racist struggle. This article analyzes the impact of psychodramatic group therapy on promoting anti racism through a literature review including 8 theoretical and 4 practical studies. The findings show that Psychodrama facilitates listening, expression, and the re-signification of subjectivity, while its techniques foster empathy, strengthen racialized identities, and expand critical awareness of racism. The article also revisits the historical roots of Psychodrama in anti racist movements, highlighting Brazil’s Black Experimental Theatre. Overall, Psychodrama creates welcoming, spontaneous spaces that encourage dialogue, healing, and collective transformation, ultimately contributing to meaningful social change in diverse communities today across contemporary global contexts.
