The explanations that lead young people to express deviant behavior are many, however, those that point to the power of institutions as a protective factor, specifically, family and school, has been featured in major studies about this phenomenon yet. This study aims to evaluate, from the structural equation modeling, the influence of social-normative pairs and the influence on deviant behavior. Participated in the study 820 young people from public and private schools in the city of João Pessoa-PB answered the Questionnaire of affiliation with social-normative pairs and deviant behavior. From the program AMOS GRAFICS 7.0, the main results indicated that the socio-normative pairs satisfactorily explain the antisocial and criminal behavior, the influence is the family - the father and mother representation - and school - in representation of the teacher - as an inhibition factor of the permeate criminal behaviors
