Abstract

ZANIN, Denise  and  SOUZA, Josimara Magro Fernandez de. For an implied clinic: attending to an “orphan of a thousand men”. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2022, vol.56, n.2, pp.55-66.  Epub Aug 19, 2024. ISSN 0486-641X.  https://doi.org/10.5935/0486-641x.v56n2.05.

This article uses a clinical situation, with a boy in psychosocial vulnerability, to make considerations about the scope of psychoanalytic work. It proposes that it is possible to bring to the field of clinical action different dimensions that are imbricated in the constitution of the human, including the historic, social, and cultural ones, without losing the specificity of the analytical encounter. It also considers that such a work can be transformative for both: patient and analyst, contributing to the constitution of the patient as a subject of his history, and expanding the psychoanalysts perspective of work.

Keywords : child psychoanalysis; social ties; subjectivation; extended clinic.
