Abstract

The author proposes reflections on the search for the inaccessible in psychoanalysis as a fundamental factor in its expansion. Based on clinical observation, he suggests considering hallucination and hallucinosis as a sensorial dimension of the analyst’s intuition that, perceived in the analyst-analysand bond, can be an important technical resource and provide access to areas of deep and unlived terrors and sufferings of the primitive and primordial mind.
