Abstract

BARROS, Elias Mallet da Rocha. Inside/outside: poetics and politics of Kleinianism in Julia Kristeva’s vision. Rev. bras. psicanál [online]. 2023, vol.57, n.4, pp.135-146.  Epub Nov 04, 2024. ISSN 0486-641X.  https://doi.org/10.69904/0486-641x.v57n4.10.

The author explores the meaning of this statement by Julia Kristeva: “For Klein, there is no ‘real mother’, or she counts for very little, because the only mother who interests her is the mother who can be thought. And a mother can be thought only if my awareness of the deadly fantasy that consumes me can imprint the real object with a portion of an object I can think about: an object I can play with - symbol, in the end”. Based on this, the author discusses the relationship between the internal world (inside) and the external world (outside), that is, the relationship between the world inside the subject and culture, in a process of introjection and projection that operate to infinity.

Keywords : mother who can be thought; real mother; symbolism; pre-narrative envelopes; representation.
