Resumen

LEDESMA, Rosa Isabel García; CABRERA, Adrián Mellado  y  TORRES, Lilia Santillán. Pérdida y duelo infantil: una visión constructivista narrativa. Altern. psicol. [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.23, pp.58-67. ISSN 1405-339X.

This article deals with bibliographical research on the process of loss and child grieving from the perspective of narrative constructivism. Emphasis is placed on the ways the concept of death, absence, ambivalence or ambiguity take shape, and on their possible implications on the child's life. The conclusion is that viewing a child as the co-constructor of his/her reality leads to the consideration that the concepts, meanings, life experiences and implications on daily life are unique in each grieving process. The proposal is to view child development theory from the observer's point of view, hand in hand with the socio-cultural aspects that may have a bearing on a child's script or life story.

Palabras clave : Child grieving; narrative constructivism; ambiguous loss; absence; death.
