Violence is a social learning, built through the experience of individuals in their surrounding. It is based on the reproduction of social, cultural and political pedagogical systems, where it is learned, taught, legitimized and authorized, becoming a value, a virtue, a quality and attribute of gender, class or age. Speaking about gender violence means the legitimate use of power through the socioeconomical status which allows justifying the presence of stereotyped violence where the socially weak are in disadvantage from the prevailing gender. The participation of the University's Faculty, including in their classes the issue of gender equity will allow building new elements to learn a non violent behavior. Therefore, we intend to research which are the insights students attending to careers of our Faculty have regarding myths of gender violence, in order to offer gender equity policies in the development of human relationships.
