Considering that the experiences in graduation courses of psychology constitute a relevant influence in the formation of students’ representations, which on their turn will guide their future behaviours, the present study was centered on the perceptions of future professionals about psychologists’ ethical conduct, seeking to verify if those perceptions differ in the initial and final stages of the course. Ninety-six (96) psychology students from a federal university took part on the study, divided in two segments: students from the initial classes of the course and from the final ones. Subjects indicated on a questionnaire the degrees in which they considered that psychologists presented some behaviors in agreement with the Psychologist’s Professional Ethics Code. Results point to different degrees of agreement in terms of the perception on psychologists: end of course-students presented a pessimistic view of the psychologist concerning his ethical conduct.
