Affective-sexual relationships of rural youth in the rural area of Pernambuco: Between modes of subjectivation and everyday resistance. This article aims to analyze how rural youth experience rural values in their affective-sexual relationships in the rural area of Pernambuco. The methodological design was based on daily research, through participant observation, and interviews with young students from a public school in the region. Despite changes in rural areas, young people experience peasant values based on inter-knowledge, family value, family honor and intergenerational and gender hierarchies. In everyday life, they create resistance, which aim at other possibilities of existence and affective-sexual experiences, through displacements, lines of escape and partial refusals of these values.
