This research, based on interviews and focus groups produced with victims of the armed conflicto in Colombia, analyzes how these speeches about the forgiveness impact this population. In the analysis of the information, it was found that the forgiveness cannot be conceptualized, given its multiple crossings, and the possibility of forgiving is subject to possible processes of justice, truth and reparation, so that forgiveness cannot be imposed. Likewise, it was evidenced that the traumatic potential of the event suffered is maintained, subject to the same determinations for its eventual overcoming, and that forgiving without a process of justice and truth can amount to resignation.
