SANTANA, Lhaís Alves Souza Pereira; CARNEIRO, Laila Leite  e  FERNANDES, Sônia Regina Pereira. Coping and its relationships with well-being at work: a scope review. Estud. psicol. (Natal) [online]. 2024, vol.29, e242903.  Epub 10-Nov-2025. ISSN 1413-294X.  https://doi.org/10.69909/1678-4669.20240003.

Coping is a phenomenon that is traditionally addressed in relation to variables linked to the illness; on the other hand, recent studies have shown its relationship with more positive variables, such as well-being. This scope review sought to map the types of recent evidence (2010 to 2021) available in the national and international literature on the relationship between coping and well-being in the work context. Searches were carried out in specific databases; after applying the selection criteria, forty-four articles were analyzed. The results obtained pointed to the predominance of the concept of coping from the transactional perspective and that of well-being from the hedonic perspective (affections and/or satisfaction). The relationships identified are, for the most part, statistically significant, with antecedent variables mainly being work demands. It is suggested that new studies be carried out, using alternative designs such as longitudinal designs that can detail the characteristics of these relationships.

Palavras-chave : coping; well-being; work.
