In this paper we present some fragments of the treatment of a drugs addiction case, linked to theoretical and clinical contributions on psychoanalytic work with borderline patients. In the light of Wilfred Bion's work on psychoanalytic clinic seen from three sides - the clinic of confrontation, the clinic of absence and the clinic of continence -, we contemplate the possibility of integrating the three models in the constitution of a complex clinical thought.
