This study aims to emphasize the trajectories of countless people who have been or are still active participants in the Gender and Sexual Diversity Centers at the Rio Grande do Sul Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology. For this, the notion of life trajectories is used as a theoretical, methodological, and political basis for the objectives of this research. In total, 16 subjects were interviewed the professional careers of which were marked by occupying a representative place within the Gender and Sexual Diversity Centers at some point in their lives. The social markers of difference of these people affect the way these centers produce gender and sexuality debates in unfolding paths along their private and professional lives. The analysis of the research material concludes that these markers produce, reproduce, and intertwine with networks of meanings about diversity, generating different effects in the lives of these subjects. Finally, by embracing different life trajectories, these centers walk side by side with the academic community, involving bodies, desires, and affections in producing a space of respect for differences.
