This study aims to describe possible contributions of the technical references of the Reference Center for Psychology and Public Policies of the Federal Council of Psychology (CREPOP) toward guaranteeing democratic rights from the perspective of political psychology. The 2019-2020 CREPOP technical references were used as sources. These productions were analyzed according to López-Aranguren’s content analysis, which is based on chosing 12 descriptors from fundamental principle I of the code of professional ethics in psychology. The CREPOP Technical References contribute to guaranteeing democratic rights by offering the category guidelines for action based on ethical-political principles that guarantee subjects the consolidation and reaffirmation of these rights. The analysis of these documents seems to be a possible way to learn about the history of the Federal Psychology Council by its political positions over the years.
