The theoretical and technical development during the existence of sciences related to occupational health and safety point to the evolution of factors to be considered and observed to maintain occupational healthy and safe conditions. Several areas produce knowledge that contributes to the psychosocial field at work, including psychology. This study aimed to identify the practices of psychology professionals working in health and safety at work. The theories of social representations and content analysis were adopted as theoretical-methodological contributions, using an online questionnaire as a collection instrument. In total, 31 psychologists, who have continuously worked continuously in occupational health and safety participated in this study. Results showed a prevalence of participants who graduated from private institutions and graduates in people management. In the professional practice prevail clinical technics, teaching-learning, research, organizational, and people management procedures, most of which are based on cognitive-behavioral theory, social psychology, and psychopathology. Thus, this research contributed with a practical survey in this field, improving the understanding of this possible specialty in Organizational and Work Psychology.
